Walter Dean

Walter Dean brings together the composer Jean-Baptiste Cognet, Guillaume Marmin, visual artist and violinist Carla Pallone. Backlit, the trio delivers a live to the pagan Mass, composed of spectral lights, dismantled synthesizers, smoke, anger and love. Walter Dean mixes electronic sounds and rock to classical influences in an immersive device where light beams sculpt space, draw twilight landscapes loaded with poetry as minimal as it is violent.

Guillaume Marmin

The work of Guillaume Marmin is part of a revival of visual creation by avoiding traditional forms of narration and traditional scenic supports. He is looking for a common language between image and sound, a synesthetic alphabet made of rhythms, contrasts and refined figures in motion.

Jean-Baptiste Cognet

Jean-Baptiste Cognet is a founder and member of the Act of Beauty and Memorial * projects. He also collaborates as a composer and performer for theatre and cinema. His work feeds on ambient sensations, noise textures, while giving pride of place to the legacy claimed from pop to cold wave. From large ensembles to small formats, his music evolves through a frantic and reverberated psychedelic language.

Carla Pallone

Violinist and composer, Carla Pallone holds a master’s degree in musicology from the University of Roma La Sapienza. She continued her studies at the Conservatoire of Nantes where she obtained her DEM in Baroque violin in 2007 and a honors prize with honors in 2008. Since then, she has been playing and composing for both the classical repertoire and the contemporary music, also created for the cinema, live show or installation projects. In 2004, Carla founded the Mansfield Tya group with Julia Lanoë. The duo has since its creation released about ten albums, received numerous awards and distinctions (CQFD Les Inrocks, Favorites Charles Cros …) and give hundreds of concerts around the world. Alongside Gaspard Claus and Christelle Lassort, she formed in 2013 the string trio Vacarme that we could see on the stages of Silencio, Olympia or Quai Branly. In 2017, the trio participates in the recording of the album “Mirapolis” by Rone with whom he will play at the Philarmonie of Paris.
